Charlotte 49ers welcome fans to spring practice

The Charlotte 49ers will host an open practice this morning at Jerry Richardson Stadium.

What to expect: Practice runs from 10am-12:15pm. Players and coaches will sign autographs on the field around 12:30pm. There will also be:

• Face painting and games.
• Concessions between gates 3 and 4.

What we're watching: Jerry Richardson Stadium is in the midst of a $70 million expansion, which is expected to be completed ahead of the 2027 season.

• Steel work on the stadium's new premium seating will begin later this month.
• Work on a new playing surface will begin Monday, April 20, for the 2026 season.

If you go: Admission is free. Tailgating starts at 8am. Stadium gates open at 10am. Enter the stadium through gates 3 and 4.

• Free parking will be available in Lot 23, CRI 2 and 3, plus the West Deck.
• Parking in the CRI Deck will be validated inside the stadium.
