The latest: DŌZO, the Japanese-American kitchen from Katsu Kart creators Perry Saito and John Gamble, recently opened its patio in Dilworth.
What to expect: The patio has its own menu, which allows you to grab a snack while you're waiting for your table inside or make a meal of it outside like we did.
We tried the tsukemono (Japanese pickled vegetables; $9), hot honey karaage (chicken thighs; $16), ribs (pork ribs; $16), beef tataki ($27), smashed spicy tuna ($24) and the fried golden tile ($26).
Stop by: 1419 East Blvd., in the same shopping center as Toccare Skin Spa.
Open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-2pm for lunch and 5-10pm for dinner.
