Why it matters: The Charlotte Marathon is a display of the best of what Charlotte is and can be. It's one of the most encouraging displays of a community coming together to support each other.
What to expect: Road closures will be in effect in Uptown and the surrounding neighborhoods, which can be found here.
The day includes a full marathon, half marathon and 5K. The marathon and half-marathon start at 7:20am, and the 5K starts at 7:35am. Find the course maps here.
Each race starts and ends in Uptown. Races start on Tryon Street and end on 4th Street near Truist Field.
