Charlotte FC will face New York City FC in a best-of-three series in the first round of MLS playoffs.
Why it matters: Charlotte FC is on a hot streak, winning 11 of their last 13 matches. They're heading into the playoffs after their best regular season yet, finishing fourth in the Eastern Conference with 59 points at 19-13-2.
What's next: The first playoff match will be at Bank of America Stadium on Oct. 28 at 6:30pm. Tickets start at $49.80.
NYCFC hosts the second match on Nov. 1 at 3:30pm.
If a third match is necessary, it will be at Bank of America Stadium on Nov. 7.
