Why it matters: Spectrum Center will reopen this weekend after its final round of a $245 million renovation. Upgrades include more premium spaces, meaning more luxury experiences for fans and the possibility for more sponsorship revenue for HSE.
It's been a busy offseason for the business side of the organization, including the addition of high-profile sponsorships.
Driving the news: The arena's Courtside Club will now be called the HondaJet Courtside Club, as Greensboro-based Honda Aircraft Company expands its HSE partnership. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
What to expect: HondaJet Courtside Club, which opened after the first round of renovations, holds 450 people. It has all-inclusive food and beverage, a grab-and-go station. The first four rows in the lower bowl have access to the club. Seats are sold in pairs for the full season.
What's next: The Hornets host the Brooklyn Nets at Spectrum Center on Oct. 22 at 7pm in their regular season opener.
