Speaking of homes, it's Home of the Year season

We're honoring Charlotte's top architects and designers with our annual Home of the Year award — and searching for the next standout.

Context: Over the years, this award has highlighted the region's best residential real estate — from multifaceted design approaches to show-stopping revitalizations.

• Past winners have ranged from custom builds to innovative and highly functional designs.

How to submit: Email your nomination(s) to [email protected] using the subject line "2025 Home of the Year nomination."

• Please include the property address, a brief description (up to three sentences) and at least three photos to be considered.

Qualifications: Homes must be newly built or remodeled within the past 12 months.

• Eligible submissions include apartments, condos, townhouses, or single-family homes in the Charlotte area.
• You can submit your own home or a client's home.

What's next: The deadline to submit is Oct. 31, 2025. If your nomination is selected as a finalist, we will follow up for more information.

• Winners will be announced by the end of the year.
