The Bowl at Ballantyne is getting an ice skating pop-up this winter

The Bowl at Ballantyne's outdoor concert venue, The AMP, will turn into an ice skating pop-up for the holidays.

Why it matters: This is the first year The Bowl is hosting the experience, "Ice Skating at The Bowl," which will run Saturday, Nov. 22, through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.

What to expect: The pop-up is open to all ages.

General admission tickets, which include skate rentals, are $20 for adults and $12 for children five and younger.
Skate helpers will be available while supplies last.
The Bowl will also host holiday markets and family-friendly community events throughout the season, per a press release.

What's next: Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 1.

If you go: Hours will be Monday–Thursday, 4–9pm; Friday, 4–10pm; Saturday, 11am–10pm and Sunday, noon–9pm.

Special holiday hours:

Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 26–28): noon–10pm.
Holiday Break (Dec. 21–23, Dec. 25–Jan. 2): noon–10pm.
Christmas Eve: noon–5pm.
Christmas Day: noon–10pm.
