The Around the Crown 10K returns tomorrow, Aug. 31, to Uptown.
Why it matters: The race will bring thousands of runners and significantly impact traffic around Uptown.
What to expect: Runners on I-277 inner lanes. Those lanes, and S. Mint Street will be closed to traffic from 2:30am–12pm, per a press release.
Additional Uptown streets will be closed to traffic from 7-9am, including:
If you go: The race kicks off at 7:30am, starting and finishing at Truist Field (324 S Mint St.). Runners must be in corrals by 7:20am.
