SouthPark After 5 returns this fall

SouthPark After 5, the entertainment series at Symphony Park (4400 Sharon Road) near the mall, is back this fall.

Why it matters: It's a free, family- and dog-friendly event that draws thousands to SouthPark every Thursday from 5-9pm.

• Each evening features live music, hands-on art experiences, food trucks and craft drinks, according to SouthPark Community Partners.

Here's the lineup:

• Sept. 4 — Java Band and free face painting.
• Sept. 11 — Landslide Tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Books on the House mobile library.
• Sept. 18 — Coconut Groove Band and Books on the House mobile library.
• Sept. 25 — Bourbon Sons and free sunflowers for the first 500 attendees.
• Oct. 2 — Y2K Kids and Books on the House mobile library.
• Oct. 9 — Petty Rewind and free pumpkin patch.
