Panda Fest, a panda-themed Asian food and culture festival, is coming to Ballantyne's Backyard Sept. 12-14.
Context: The three-day festival was created by the founders of Dragon Fest, which is recognized as one of the largest Asian cultural festivals in the U.S.
The family-friendly event highlights the traditions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
What to expect: 70+ food vendors offering 300+ dishes from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.
It'll have a marketplace with 20+ vendors selling crafts, clothes, and accessories.
There will also be live performances, a panda bounce ring, panda-themed installations including a 15-foot inflatable panda, and interactive experiences.
