Carolina Ascent FC, Charlotte's professional women's soccer team, will host a home playoff match tomorrow against Fort Lauderdale United FC.
Why it matters: The Ascent have dominated, finishing first in the inaugural regular season for the USL Super League and winning the inaugural USL Super League Players' Shield. Now they have a chance to make their mark in the playoffs as the No. 1 overall seed.
