The Juice Pod is coming to South End

The Juice Pod will open in South End this summer.

Why it matters: It's the first Charlotte location for the New Jersey-based company, which specializes in "superfoods."

• The Juice Pod will join a list of local tenants, including Sycamore and Chapter Six, at The Line, a mixed-use office development.

Dig in: Its menu features cold-pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, salads, wraps, paninis and toasts.
