Now open: North Italia at Birkdale Village

North Italia will open its newest location in Birkdale Village today.

What to expect: The 9,914-square-foot restaurant seats 152 guests inside and an additional 125 guests on its covered patio with an indoor/outdoor bar.

• The menu will be the same as its other locations and will feature handmade pasta dishes, pizza, Italian entrees and desserts.

My thought bubble: Get the white truffle garlic bread to start; you won't regret it.

• Open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11am-4pm, dinner Sunday-Thursday from 4pm-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 4pm-11pm, and brunch Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm.
