Raise 'em up

Poured with Purpose, a new initiative from NoDa Brewing, will support charities by donating $1 from each pint poured in its taproom every Tuesday.

How it works: Patrons will receive a token and select where their dollar goes on the brewery's Impact Wall.

• The organization with the most tokens will receive up to $500 in additional funds. Donations will be distributed periodically, per a press release.
• The first round of donations will go to organizations supporting western North Carolina after Helene: Manna FoodBank, BeLoved Asheville, United Way of Asheville & Buncombe County and Mountain Projects.

What's next: NoDa Brewing will accept nominations for future donations on a rolling basis. Nonprofits can apply here.
