Developer Cousins Properties is under contract to acquire the mixed-use Vantage South End property at South Tryon Street and Carson Boulevard for $328.5 million, according to a statement from the Atlanta firm.
Why it matters: The deal underscores developers' bullishness about South End, where demand for amenity-rich office space is high post-pandemic.
Details: Vantage South End comprises two 11-story office towers, which were completed in 2021 and 2022 by developer Spectrum Cos. The office tenants include law firm Alston & Bird, Grant Thornton and LendingTree.
Zoom out: Cousins owns a handful of other high-profile properties in South End, including RailYard, the property that includes Slate along the light rail, and nearby parcel at 205 E. Bland St.
