7 local restaurants and catering companies with Thanksgiving preorder meals

Thanksgiving is a little over three weeks away, and if you're like me (unskilled in the kitchen), you might want to order from one of these local eateries:

• Copain in SouthPark is taking orders by Nov. 20 for pickup on Nov. 26-27.
• Your Farms Your Table will be available for pickup at City Kitch on Wednesday, Nov. 27, from 5-6pm. The last day to order is Nov. 13.
• Salted Melon is taking orders until Nov. 24 for pickup in South End on Nov. 26-27.
• Table & Twine is taking orders until Nov. 26 for pickup (at 2600 Youngblood St.) and delivery throughout Charlotte.
• Mimosa Grill in Uptown is hosting a Thanksgiving Day buffet from 11am-4pm for $55 for adults and $25 for children. Or, you can order to-go by Nov. 22 to pick up on Nov. 27.
• Chef Alyssa's Kitchen is accepting orders until Nov. 21 for pickup on Nov. 26-27 or delivery anywhere in Charlotte.
• Customshop will host a five-course "Friendsgiving" meal on Nov. 27 for $125 per person.
• Mac's Speed Shop is taking orders before Nov. 17 for Thanksgiving and before Dec. 13 for Christmas.
