Balenciaga, the Spanish luxury fashion brand, opened its store in SouthPark Mall, marking its first-ever location in North Carolina. The 3,961-square-foot store sells men's and women's shoes, bags, accessories, objects, eyewear, jewelry and more, according to a statement from the mall.

Levine Properties, a Charlotte commercial real estate developer, has appointed Daniel Malino as its new president to lead the company's day-to-day operations. Founder Daniel Levine will transition to chairman, the developer said in a statement.
