The United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC) is taking place now through Sunday at Winthrop University in York County.
Why it matters: This is the championship's 26th consecutive year, welcoming the world's best disc golfers to Winthrop's renowned Arena Course in Rock Hill.
What to expect: In addition to the competition, there's a free concert series every night starting at 6pm with vendors, food trucks and kids' activities.
- Day passes start at $25. Kids ages 10 and younger get in free and so do active-duty military and veterans. It's free for everyone to attend after 5pm.
