One fried thing to go: Fried chicken around the world

Haberdish is hosting a pre-fixe dinner event centered on fried chicken.

Dig in: The "Fried Chicken Around the World" dinner will have five courses including dessert.

• Each dish will highlight how fried chicken is enjoyed in different countries, like Coxinha from Brazil and karaage steam buns from Japan, for example.

Why it matters: Charlotteans love their fried chicken, especially in sandwich form.

If you go: The dinner is on Monday, Sept. 16 from 5-9pm.

• Tickets are $85 per person plus tax and tip.
