Toastique, a gourmet toast and juice bar chain, opened its first North Carolina location inside the Vantage South End building last weekend.
What to expect: A health-focused cafe with options like hand-crafted toast, smoothies and smoothie bowls, cold pressed juices, wellness shots and coffee.
My thought bubble: Charlotte's wellness era is showing up in its food, too. This is the second wellness-centric cafe to recently open — Mamaka Bowls, a smoothie bowl cafe, opened in South End last week.
