Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar will open at SouthPark Mall on Friday, March 21.
Why it matters: This will be the retail-retaurant-combo's first North Carolina location.
The vibe: The 9,720-square-foot space allows visitors to shop, dine and drink.
- It will have a restaurant bar, outdoor patio and a store selling men's and women's sportswear, swimwear, accessories and home decor, per a press release.
- Menu items include coconut shrimp, blackened mahi tacos, beef and "Nashville" hot chicken sliders, an ahi poke bowl and key lime pie, plus cocktails, wine and beer.
Zoom out: Tommy Bahama owns and operates over 160 Tommy Bahama retail locations worldwide, 27 of which offer a Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar, or a Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar.
Stop by: Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar will be located at 4400 Sharon Road, in the old McCormick & Schmick's space on the mall's west side.
- Bar hours will be Sunday – Thursday 11am – 9pm, Friday and Saturday 11am – 10pm.
- Retail hours will be Sunday - Thursday 10am- 9pm and Sunday 10am – 10pm.
