This week, Charlotte Pride organizers announced three headliners for its annual festival and parade.
Driving the news: Baby Tate, Bob the Drag Queen and electronic dance-pop artist Slayyyter will take the main stage in Uptown on Saturday, Aug. 17.
Baby Tate is a singer, songwriter, rapper and producer from Atlanta who recently went viral for her freestyle on the YouTube show "On the Radar Radio."
RuPaul fans will recognize Bob the Drag Queen as the winner of Season 8 of "Drag Race."
Why it matters: Charlotte Pride is the largest LGBTQ+ celebration in the Carolinas, according to the city.
