Pisco Gastrolounge in Uptown offers Peruvian cuisine and international nightlife vibes

Pisco Gastrolounge is a traditional Peruvian restaurant by day and a cultural nightclub by night.
Why it matters: It's the latest venture from Renzo Bellido, who also owns Tequila House, a popular late-night spot in Uptown.
Catch up quick: The restaurant quietly opened in the former Roxbury space earlier this year. The club area also recently opened.
The vibe: The nearly 3,500-square-foot space includes a dining area on the first floor, patio seating and a club area called Piscoteca on the lower floor.
- Expect a mix of music genres including EDM, Latin house and Afro house to offer an international feel similar to the Miami club experience.
Dig in: Expect traditional menu items with spices imported from Peru for dishes like the marinated steak "Lomo" saltado, which Bellido says reminds him of his roots.
- Pisco Gastrolounge's menu also has ceviche, sashimi, maki rolls, salads, soups, pasta and fusion dishes like chaufa and lo mein.
- Drink options include six signature cocktails ranging from $13-$15 and a variety of wine.
If you go: Dine in at 116 W. 5th St. Tuesday through Sunday from 5-10pm.
- Pull up to party in the club on Friday and Saturday from 10pm-2am.
