A local chef and Charlotte native will appear on Food Network's "Chopped" tomorrow.
Jamisen Booker, chef de cuisine at The Asbury inside The Dunhill Hotel, took on the show's "Trash into Treasure" challenge. Contenders used what would typically be scrap ingredients to create their dishes.
The show was filmed over three days in New York City.
