Sandwich Max is back in a new location in the Belmont neighborhood
Sandwich Max, a beloved family restaurant with some of the best sandwiches in Charlotte, has a new brick-and-mortar location near Uptown.
Why it matters: You can expect the same sandwiches and wraps that earned the family-owned restaurant a cult following.
Catch up quick: Last April, the owners of Sandwich Max closed their South Boulevard location, which the family had operated since 1996.
- In July, they opened a temporary spot inside the ghost kitchen South End Eats. “It was always the plan to reopen in a new permanent spot,” owner Sam Nicholson said.
- Its new 1,000-square-foot space has indoor and outdoor seating, with space for about 30-40 people inside and about 20 outside.
Details: Sandwich Max is now located at 933 Louise Ave. in the former Paper Plane Deli and Market spot.
- It’s open Monday-Friday 10am-7pm, Saturdays 11am-6pm, and closed on Sundays.
