Live music: 10 concerts coming to Charlotte in October, including Suki Waterhouse and John Mayer

Charlotte live music fans, here’s a quick list of the 10 biggest concerts coming to Charlotte in October.

Of note: This is not a comprehensive list of all concerts coming here in October. Other upcoming notable shows include Luke Bryan at PNC Music Pavilion (Oct. 7) and Travis Scott at Spectrum Center (Oct. 11). For shows that are sold out, you can check to see if there are resale tickets available.

October 6: Suki Waterhouse

The English actress, model and singer-songwriter released her debut album, I Can’t Let Go, in 2022.

October 11: Mapache, Johnny Payne

The folk duo released their latest studio album, Swinging Stars, in August.

October 12: Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, Clark Sisters, David and Tamela Mann, Israel Houghton

Franklin, a 19-time Grammy Award winner, visits Charlotte with a host of gospel legends.

October 20: The 1975, Dora Jar

The British pop band’s North America and Europe tour features 60 shows in support of their fifth studio album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language.

October 20-22: The Queen City Jam Session

The festival — featuring headliners Bully, Anders Osborne and Leftover Salmon — returns for a second time, moving from NoDa Brewing Company to the Neighborhood Theatre.

October 21: Siddhartha

The Mexican rock musician’s “00:00” earned him a 2022 Latin Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Song.

October 23: John Mayer, JP Saxe

The singer and guitarist visits Charlotte on his first ever solo tour.

The Kentucky singer-songwriter and folk musician released her second studio album, Teeth Marks, in 2022.

October 27: Genesis Owusu, Enumclaw

The Ghanaian-Australian singer and rapper’s latest album, Struggler, reached the No. 4 spot in the Australian charts.

October 29: Kitchen Dwellers, Fireside Collective

The Montana bluegrass outfit’s dynamic sound ranges from traditional Appalachian string music to psychedelic rock.
