Comfort over anything — that was a big takeaway from the pandemic and work-from-home lifestyle shift. It’s something local clothing brand founder Diandra Harvin noticed before launching her luxury loungewear brand Noite Rose.
“I was tired of looking frumpy and realized there were so many women that needed to elevate their self-care experience,” Harvin told me.
Why it matters: Noite Rose is a local, Black-owned, woman-owned, loungewear line that aims to prove comfort and fashion can co-exist.
- Since launching in 2021, Noite Rose has appeared in Forbes and showcased in retailers like Nordstrom.
Flashback: The idea for the luxury loungewear brand came to Harvin over brunch with her husband and friends. She recalls sitting there, hating how she felt in an ill-fitting muumuu.
- Harvin says during that brunch, her girlfriend suggested she create her own clothing line for elevated loungewear. With a background in fashion merchandising, Harvin took the leap and launched Noite Rose in October 2021.
Details: From casual looks like the Have Mercy romper, to silky pieces, such as the Situationship Set, Noite Roise is made for the woman who loves to lounge in comfy wear, but thinks “oh girl, you still got it” when passing a hallway mirror, Harvin told me.
- Harvin designs everything in the collection.
- It’s size-inclusive, too, with pieces ranging from XS to 2XL and relaxed-fit options.
- Oh, and every piece has pockets (praise).
And when everything started opening up again, Harvin says she put extra focus into making her pieces outside-friendly, too. “I’ve even had people wear their pieces on a date,” she said.

Zoom in: Although a primarily online store, Harvin and Noite Rose frequent various Charlotte pop-ups. “We joined Girl Tribe for the holiday season,” she said.
- Diandra also chatted about all things Noite Rose with our news partners at WBTV in the fall.

Pricing starts at $80 and goes up to $160; the best seller is the Wake Up Love Dress ($80), said Harvin.

- “That’s our tried and true,” she said. “It can be worn on the shoulder, off the shoulder or even as a mini dress. You really can put your own flair and style on it.”
What’s next: Harvin plans to continue collaborating with Charlotte businesses, while adding new merchandise, like home decor, to the brand.
- “We’re building on the community, so we want to provide some additional products like glassware or plates to bring in that elevated self-care,” she said.
- She also plans to create another line of loungewear that’s extra cozy-focused — think “two-piece sweat suit you’d wear to the airport,” she told me.
- Keep up with product updates and future pop-ups on Instagram and find her current collection online.
