Just one year after the Delaware-based sandwich shop opened in Fort Mill, Capriotti’s is opening its second local location in Steele Creek this Saturday, Jan. 28.
Why it matters: This is just the second of more than 10 Capriotti’s slated to open in the Charlotte area, according to director of operations Jon Tavernier. The next one is set to open this spring at Park Road Shopping Center, next to Southern Pressed Juicery.
What to expect: The same subs that put Capriotti’s on the map, including its most popular sandwich the “Bobbie,” packed with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. “Our most popular sandwiches are going to be the Bobbie, the classic cheesesteak, the wagyu cheesesteak and our ‘Capastrami,'” Tavernier said.
- Plus, this location will have fries, including loaded cheesesteak fries and Capastrami fries (pastrami, coleslaw, Russia dressing).

Details: The 14,150 square foot space in Steele Creek has about 22 seats for indoor dining.
- It is located at 2040 Freeman Park Dr.
- Its hours of operation are 10am-9pm every day. Delivery and pickup is available through their app.
Zoom in: Capriotti’s offers catering as well, with small tray (eight to 10 people) and large tray (11-13 people) options. Prices vary depending on your order, with the option to add salad and cookie trays as well.
