For the sixth consecutive season, Charlotte will host the Atlantic Coast Conference championship football game.
Here’s what you need to know to be game-day ready.
Who’s playing
Clemson (10-2 overall, 8-0 conference): The Tigers are not as dominant as they were from 2015-2020, but they easily secured their spot in the conference championship game as their competition in the Atlantic division fell to the wayside. But a College Football Playoff berth looks to be out of reach for the second straight season.
North Carolina (9-3 overall, 6-2 conference): UNC’s last game in Bank of America Stadium was a 38-21 loss to South Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, capping off a disheartening six-win 2021 season. Head coach Mack Brown and the Tar Heels turned things around quickly behind the stellar play of Drake Maye — the former Myers Park High QB who’s Heisman Trophy hopes ride heavily on this game.

Clutch
Just four blocks away from Bank of America Stadium, Clutch has a robust menu including mimosa flights, cereal shots, french fry platters, wings, nachos, burgers and wraps.
