You can make reservations now for the private dining experience atop one of Charlotte’s most scenic rooftops.

The seasonal igloos at Merchant & Trade, located on the rooftop of Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel, were first introduced two years ago during the pandemic as a safe way to social distance.

Why it matters: “Doing this [in 2020] kept our business afloat,” Chris Baliles, the director of food and beverage, told Axios last year. Though they were temporary, the igloos became wildly popular hangout spots.

Details: This year there will be one igloo instead of two and reservations can be made for parties of two to 10.

  • This year’s igloo theme will be “Après-ski lodge,” according to communications manager Gwen Poth.

  • It’ll have a small space heater inside, which is enough to keep everyone warm.

How it works: The igloo is reservation only and will be available Tuesdays-Sundays beginning Nov. 11.

  • Prices range from $750-$850, which includes a food and beverage minimum and the rental fee.
