The mansion, referred to by the former owner as the “Lazy Bear Lodge,” is located in the Linville Ridge Country Club at 1907 Flattop Cliffs Drive.
Why it matters: The lavish lodge is currently the most expensive listing on the market in both North and South Carolina.

Who: The house was owned by the late Charles Weber, who passed away in 2021 after a battle with cancer.
- Originally from Fayetteville, Weber was a real estate agent.
- Weber also spent quite some time in development as he built more than a thousand units in six different apartment communities in the Fayetteville area.
Layout: The estate spans over 5.86 acres, the 8,700-square-foot space has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and two partial bathrooms.
