This fine dining restaurant overlooks Charlotte Motor Speedway

Details: The Speedway Club restaurant offers a unique dining experience, especially for lovers of NASCAR and fine dining.

• It’s technically a members-only restaurant, but it’s open for nonmembers this summer as it revamps its membership program post-pandemic.
• In addition to expanding its hours, The Speedway Club was one of 42 restaurants participating in Queen’s Feast, Charlotte’s restaurant week, which continues through this weekend. (Note: The Speedway Club’s restaurant week menu is not available on weekends.)

On the menu: Led by executive chef Steve Ruffino, the menu is all-American fine dining with steaks, loaded mashed potatoes, baked mac & cheese, and more.

• A 14 oz. rib eye will set you back $44 — and you can add a lobster tail for market price.
• Other entrées range in price from $14 for the restaurant’s signature burger to $28 for blackened salmon.
• For dessert, go with the cheesecake.
