Home of one of Charlotte’s best burgers, Ace No. 3‘s third location opens in Myers Park on Thursday, June 17.
The popular burger joint from restaurateurs Paul Manley, Andrew Chapman and Dennis Thompson (Sea Level, The Waterman) opened in November 2019 in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood near Sweet Lew’s BBQ. Its second location opened in Concord Mills in March.
What to expect: Located in a former Boston Market at 829 Providence Road, the new Ace location will feature the same simple and beloved menu of burgers, fries and milkshakes.
- The most popular menu item is “The Ace” burger ($8.65) made with two patties, American cheese, onions, pickles and Ace’s house “comeback sauce.” That and a boozy shake is *chef’s kiss*.
- Dine-in or order food to-go from the carryout window. Delivery is also available via the Ace No. 3 website.

The big picture: Even in a pandemic, Ace No. 3 has been busy. “The stress test on business that is a pandemic shows the things people gravitate toward during troubled times,” Manley told Axios Charlotte when he announced the expansion last fall. “People gravitate toward comfort food.”
- That demand is what pushed the Ace team to open two new locations, both larger than the first, this year.
Hours: Ace’s Myers Park location is open daily from 11am-9pm on Sun-Thurs and 11am-10pm on Fri-Sat.
