Former Panthers player Captain Munnerlyn designed a custom home in Steele Creek in 2019. It’s now for sale and hits the market Friday, asking $3,230,500.
Captains’ favorite feature: Listing agent Kendall Phills said the lower level bowling alley is where Captain spends his free time. “His ‘man cave’ or separate living quarters is where you can find him entertaining his homies and former teammates,” she added.
The exact address is 10220 Sweetleaf Place. At 9,191 square feet, it has 5 beds and 9 baths.
“Even with 9,100-plus square feet, there’s no wasted space,” Phills said. “You will utilize this house.”
Design highlights: The Munnerlyn family wanted a transitional design — a blend of modern, classic and contemporary styles. The house features a herringbone patterned entry, custom curved staircase, soaring ceilings, an open chef’s kitchen and tasteful, bright finishes throughout. The custom house was built by Arcadia and designed by Deena Knight Designs.
Luxury additions: Bowling alley, home theater room, four-car garage, fitness center, separate living quarters (man cave), and a scullery where a private chef can prepare meals.
