Charlotte Marathon: The Novant Health Charlotte Marathon features five different races: the marathon, half-marathon, marathon relay, 5K and kid’s 1-mile run. Expect entertainment along the course and major headliners at the finish line festival. November 3.

EpicFest: EpicFest is a free literary festival that connects children, teens and families with books and authors through activities that encourage a love of reading. This year’s festival features award-winning authors and illustrators, Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band and a YA author panel. November 3.

Ties & Tails Gala: Celebrate the donor and volunteers of the Humane Society of Charlotte while supporting their mission and the animals they care for.
