Boutique office building underway in Charlotte’s Gold District

Known as Gather Wilmore, the project will continue to expand the boundaries of the booming neighborhood.

But the developers are also trying to expand the boundaries of the type of companies that can be served with Class A office space. This building will focus on the “boutique” market, offering to smaller teams the same type of office space usually reserved for the big guys Uptown.

“We spared no expense in creating a space that will give businesses an opportunity to interact with one
another and to work in a dramatic, inspiring environment,” says developer John Cunnane.

The building will have 10 total office suites, ranging from 900 to 2,200 square feet

That will add up a total of 17,000 square feet of office space. Ceilings will reach 16 feet, and the design is full of glass.

The building is about 100 yards from new spots like Yume, Bardo and Max & Lola.

Leasing has just started this month. Gather Wilmore should be complete in January 2019.
