Being a teenager in Charlotte, it’s sometimes difficult to think of exciting activities to do with our significant others that don’t break our budget, call for our parents’ watchful eyes or are hindered by our own indecisiveness.

Here are some fresh, new ideas to get you started on date ideas for the summer that aren’t just your average everyday date spots.

10 Park Lanes

Whether you’re trying to get a turkey or impress your date or just trying to score above a 70, 10 Park Lane’s authentically retro bowling alley vibe, combined with a modern array of shareable menu options, makes this hotspot perfect for a successful date. On Friday and Saturday nights, they even have a DJ, making your bowling experience even more enjoyable.

Airport Overlook

The Charlotte Douglas International Airport Overlook is one of the more special spots for a romantic date. Around sunset, it’s one of the most beautiful places to be as airplanes take off and land.
