A huge new seafood restaurant with a raw bar and tiki-inspired pineapple cocktails is now open in Uptown

It’s the latest venture from Rare Roots Hospitality, the same restaurant group behind Dogwood, Dressler’s and Porter’s House.

The 8,100-square-foot space, formerly home to e2 Emeril’s Eatery and vacant since 2015, is located at 135 Levine Avenue of the Arts.

The restaurant is HUGE and can seat 95 in the main dining room 65 in the bar area and another 65 in two private dining rooms.

My favorite spot is the bar with its white subway tile and oyster shell chandelier.

The menu is dense and features fresh seafood delivered daily from the coast.

We’re talking things like scallops served over potato latkes ($15), lobster mac & cheese ($14), smoked salmon flatbread ($11), mussels ($10) and a raw bar. They’ve also got land dishes like wagyu skirt steak ($25) and duck breast ($38)

Behind the bar, lead bartender Brittany Kellum and her team BK & The Clams are cranking out gorgeous craft cocktails.

Looking for visual drama? Go for the Adventures in Paradise ($18) made with plantation rums, amaro and torched coconut flakes and served in a pineapple.

Feeling a little less in your face? The May the Funk be Witcha ($14) is a bright, tart blend of vanilla vodka, yellow chartreuse, chamomile and lemon.

Fin & Fino is open Monday – Saturday and will is accepting reservations for April 14.

Lunch is served weekdays 11a-2p and dinner service begins at 5p. “Happy Time” is 4-6p.
