Roots Cafe, a new restaurant tucked away off South Boulevard in South End, just added new items to their breakfast and lunch/dinner menus.
Owner and chef Craig Barbour is always tweaking things in the kitchen and dining room to “figure out what’s working and not working.” He’s made Roots a destination for coffee addicts, wine and beer drinkers, and foodies.
Check out their coffee subscription program: $25/mo for unlimited drip coffee and $45/mo for unlimited coffee of all types (cold brew, drip, espresso, latte, cappuccino, macchiato, etc)
At dinnertime, you’ll now notice chiller music and dimmer lights.
You can also snag a free wine flight on Tuesdays throughout December to really top off your dinner.

Things are changing on the weekends, too.
Brunch will be served Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM – 3 PM, and the restaurant will be closed for dinner.
You can expect to see a weekly brunch special and enjoy live music by local bands while you sip on mimosas.
I got a taste of new items on the lunch/dinner menu. Take a look.
