Chipotle-style poke restaurant now open in South End. Here’s the menu and how it works

Korean food and raw fish lovers, rejoice: Seoul Poke Bowl is now open in South End.

Their exact address is 3609 South Boulevard (right down the road from Scaleybark Station).

Hours are Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

This fast-casual spot offers build-your-own poke bowls (on rice, salad or chips) and bibimbap (Korean rice bowl).

For those new to poke bowls, it’s a raw fish salad and a traditional Hawaiian dish.

Think Chipotle-style building but with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, chicken, crab meat, tofu, spicy tuna, shrimp and bulgogi (beef)  – with tons of topping choices.

You start with a base, choose proteins and then add up to four toppings.

If you don’t trust your decision making, Seoul Poke Bowl offers a handful of signature bowls.

Seoul Poke Special ($15.95) – salmon, tuna, yellowtail, scallions, seaweed salad, cucumber, masago, edamame, mango, avocado, served with homemade citrus ponzu sauce.
Classic Bimbimbap ($12.95) – Bulgogi beef, bean sprouts, carrots, daikon, freid egg, served with homemade gochujang chili sauce and seasame oil.

Congratulations to owners Mike Park & Duy Nguyen.

Look for Seoul Poke Bowl to add sushi burritos and kimbap (Korean rolls) once things get rolling.
