Did you know there’s a subdivision in Charlotte designed to look and feel like a historic French village?
It’s always Ren Faire weekend in Courance, the city’s ‘French Village’ subdivision. The tiny community of 17 homes was built in the late 1990s. It’s in the Pellyn Wood area of South Charlotte, off of Providence Road.
The community shares cobblestone streets, waterfalls and gas-lit street lamps. The homes have limestone exteriors.
