Stressed about what to wear to an all-day brewery adventure?

No worries, I’ve got you covered! Okay, let’s go brewery by brewery for certain looks that I’ve created for the vibe of each.

Suffolk Punch

The up-and-coming spot combines coffee, café, and craft beer all into one. Located right off the light rail, Suffolk Punch has become a popular place to stop in for a round of drinks after work.

Staying to try some of the farm-to-table small plates? Dress on the trendier side.

A black jumpsuit is a no-brainer! You only have one piece to throw on and it goes with everything.

Leave your pumps for the office, and switch into these funky mules.

Sycamore

Sycamore has everything I could ever ask for. Food Trucks. Beer. And puppies!

I always opt for something like an oversized embroidered jacket, a white goes-with-everything blouse, and high waist distressed jeans to stay comfortable. How else can I chase after all the golden retrievers?

And don’t forget to bring a crossbody bag to hold all your things!

You’ll need both hands – one for a Southern Blonde, one for Papi Queso’s “Pig Mac” grilled cheese.

NoDa Brewing

From NoDa’s award winning Hop Drop and Roll to its seasonal NoDajito, you’re bound to like every beer in your flight.

This cozy knit is perfect for chilly fall nights when your beer blanket may not cut it.

Grab a pair of sunnies before you head out! No one wants to squint all day long.

Madewell has a ton of great styles for any face shape.

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery

I’m not big on exercise. Unless it involves beer. If you’re the same way, OMB is the place to be.

At Yoga on Tap, you can get a workout in and sip on its seasonal Mecktoberfest.

Stick with an elevated athleisure look, such as your workout attire paired with a long hoodie layered underneath a leather jacket.

Spandex not your thing? Pair the same hoodie/jacket combo with your favorite black skinny jeans or leather leggings and these glittered sneakers or silver slip-ons.

The Broken Spoke

I know, I know, I know… Technically, The Broken Spoke is not a brewery. BUT, they do distill their own whiskey and vodka at The Great Wagon Road Distillery Co.

For whiskey drinkers, I recommend its namesake drink The Broken Spoke – GWR Rue Single Malt, Amaro Montegnegro, Benedictine, and Orange Zest.

Vodka’s your poison? The grapefruit mule is a must.

With plush leather couches, a vintage piano, and a bartender in suspenders, The Broken Spoke is one part old-fashioned saloon and two parts contemporary lounge.

To dress the part, I channeled my best inner saloon girl. I slipped on a ruffled floral mini dress, paired it with metallic green booties, and grabbed an updated letterman jacket.
