Second phase of $700,000+ townhomes set for SouthPark

The market for townhomes in Charlotte continues to appear unsatiable at all price levels.

After strong interest in their first phase of luxury townhomes on Fairview Road, developer Saratoga Asset Management is about to start selling a second phase.

The homes in the SouthPark City Homes community are 3,100 square feet and start at $700,000.

So far 14 of the 18 homes in the first phase have sold, with two under construction and a model home. There will be 26 in total when the eight townhomes in the second phase are built by February or March.

The townhome market is booming in Charlotte and several developers are now adding on to initial phases.

Hopper Communities is building 33 new townhomes in South End where they already have 53 of them.
