SouthPark’s restaurant scene continues to heat up. SouthPark Grill is now open in Capitol Towers (video)

SouthPark Grill is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Find it at 4300 Congress Street, and follow them on Instagram.

SouthPark Grill is now open near SouthPark Mall in Capitol Towers at 4300 Congress Street.

It’s the newest concept from the former owner of now-closed McIntosh’s Steak & Seafood, Greg McIntosh.

Find it in a corporate park behind Piedmont Row, the shopping center that houses Georges Brasserie and Taco Mac.

The space offers a large dining room with just over 40 tables, a gorgeous bar area with brass and marble accents, two private dining rooms and two spacious patios.

The grill offers classic American fare in the form of brunch, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Menus include staples like Oysters Rockefeller, a Classic Burger, Filet Mignon and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes.

The cocktail menu is equally classic with offerings like the SouthPark Old Fashioned, Classic Moscow Mule, Charlotte’s Storm and Congress Boulevardier.

Basil Smash (Gin or vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup) and The Southern Gentleman (Bulleit Rye, blackberries, mint, lemon juice)

Ginger Margarita (Hornitos Reposado, Solerno Blood Orange Liquer, SPG Ginger Syrup, key lime juice, lemonade) and Dragon Crush (Bacardi Dragon Berry Rum, St. Germaine, strawberries, basil, pepper syrup)

The Park (baby arugula, goat cheese, apples, pecan brittle, wild honey vinaigrette)

Rotisserie Chicken (half chicken, broccolini, gold rice pilaf, natural jus)

Filet Mignon with garlic butter and Scalloped Potatoes

Apple Walnut Cobbler (caramel pecan topping and vanilla ice cream)

We stopped by for dinner last night and essentially had to roll ourselves out to our cars afterward.
