The weather’s great and you just want to be out and about with your dog? I get that. Here are five events neither of you should miss, sorted chronologically so you won’t miss any of them.
A Dog’s Dream Dinner
July 9 | Jackalope Jack’s | 5 to 8 p.m. | $40 | Tickets
CLTChomp has partnered with Jackalope Jack’s to present a three-course meal for both you and your dog that includes a Spinach Bacon & Goat Cheese Salad and Chocolate Whoopie Pies with Banana Pudding. Puppy Pub Takeover
July 10 | Jackalope Jack’s | 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. | Free
So many people showed up at the first Puppy Patio Takeover at the Peculiar Rabbit that they’ve permanently moved it to Jackalope Jack’s under the name Puppy Pub Takeover (yes, dogs are allowed inside). Expect adoptable dogs through the Live.Wag.Bark! foundation, a raffle and more. Details.

Dog Days of Summer Fest
July 15 | Lucky Dog Bark & Brew | Noon to 6 p.m. | $0-$25 | Tickets
Expect local vendors, adoptable dogs, a raffle and Doggie Days Summer Pageant (categories include Sassiest Strut, Cutest/Coolest Costume and Sweetest Smile). Pageant proceeds benefit Long Trails to Happy Tails Dog Rescue and Lucky Dog will donate 10% of bar sales between 2 and 6 p.m. Details.

Barks and Brews
July 15 | McGill Rose Garden | 5 to 9 p.m. | $25-$35 | Tickets
Each ticket includes a JB Lazy Pig BBQ plate, two Triple C beers and a popsicle of King of Pops and benefits Project 2 Heal, a 501c3 organization that breeds and trains labradors to be companion animals children with special needs. Details.

Puppy Poker Run
July 28 | Lucky Dog Bark & Brew | 7 to 10 p.m. | $20-$25 | Tickets
Participate in the first Puppy Poker Run to benefit Project 2 Heal, a 501c3 that breeds and trains retrievers as service dogs for special needs children. Five tables will be set up, each where players will choose a new card – at the end, the best hand wins a prize pack valued at $500. Food trucks will also be on-site. All proceeds benefit Project 2 Heal. Details.
