Charlotte needs a cookie dough bar right this second

And I don’t mean a large tray of cookie dough baked and then cut into individual handheld bars. I mean an actual physical bar where raw cookie dough is served up in cones like ice cream.

Perhaps you’re unfamiliar with the concept. Behold DŌ, a cookie dough bar that opened in NYC back in February and unleashed a frenzy of cookie dough-related media coverage:

You can’t think of anything else now, can you? Absolute gluttonous mayhem, right? And Charlotte needs it right this second.

The cookie dough bar concept has made its way to North Carolina — just not Charlotte yet.

Tart Sweets in Winston-Salem unveiled its cookie dough bar in late March and jealousy now consumes me.
