Living Kitchen’s second Charlotte location opens today in SouthPark. Take a look inside

Living Kitchen adds a fourth location to its restaurant lineup today.

The new SouthPark restaurant is located in the former Zebra space at 4521 Sharon Road and is part of a string of recent openings for the brand.

Last year, Living Kitchen expanded beyond Charlotte, opening restaurants in Raleigh and Chapel Hill. The original, located at Atherton Mill in South End, opened in 2010.

Living Kitchen SouthPark features the same plant-based menu fans have come to love in South End.

If you’re new to the concept, expect to find familiar dishes reimagined in raw, vegan variations.

The manicotti, for example, is made with thinly sliced zucchini ribbons instead of noodles that are stuffed with a creamy cashew ricotta.

The SouthPark space feels like other Living Kitchen locations with one major advantage — the patio.

The spacious, partially covered outdoor area with a fireplace and and waterfall accents will no doubt be packed during the warm weather months.

Inside, they’ve replicated design elements that have become representative of the brand, like beveled white subway tile, colorful artwork and a large open kitchen.

Finding the restaurant can be a little tricky if you’re new to the building.

From the parking lot facing the building, head to the left and around the corner where you’ll find Living Kitchen’s garden entrance.

Living Kitchen SouthPark will have the same hours as the South End location — Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
