Top crab cake in Charlotte is a $13 DIY project shaped like a baseball

Clean Catch, a dead simple yet upscale fish market located near Mellow Mushroom in Myers Park, serves up a freaking delightful crab cake.

The exact address is 2820 Selwyn Ave. Suite 150 Charlotte, NC 28209

Crab cakes cost $13 and Clean Catch sells about 200 each week on average.

It’s so clean inside Clean Catch and I always want to take a big bite out of the tuna on display. I love tuna.

The crab cake comes with a generous helping of their homemade dipping sauce. Yum.

Pro Tip: Ask for a sample of their fancy oil because you’re not supposed to cook this in typical olive oil.

Crab cake is a little smaller than a baseball

Don’t forget to grab the note-card-sized instructions so that you can impress others with your crab cake cooking skills even though you don’t know what you’re doing.

Don’t forget, you only sear it on one side – then you flip it and put it in the oven.

Go home, bring it out of the to-go box and marvel at your crab cake.

What’s inside? Pasteurized wild blue crab meat, mayonnaise, onion, panko bread crumbs, eggs, whole grain dijon mustard, seafood poultry salad & meat seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, ground chili paste, hot pepper sauce and mustard seeds.

Sear it for 2 minutes.

Just look at those large lumps of crab.  Nom Nom Nom.

Cooking this sucker is so easy and a guaranteed way to impress your lover or a dinner party.
