AIR® Aerial Fitness is opening a second Charlotte location, and the fitness studio will share space with sister concept Mud. Facial Bar. The name: Air and Mud.
The exact SouthPark location is near Capitol in the Morrison shopping complex with other tenants like Barnes & Noble, Earth Fare, YAFO, YAMA, Firebirds and more. It’s a hot shopping center.
“We’re targeting a late January grand opening and we’re excited to build a true health and wellness brand,” owner Kerri Flannigan told the Agenda. “There’s so much growth in SouthPark and the location has several complimentary businesses around it.”
AIR® Aerial Fitness and Mud Facial Bar will share a reception area and back office. Kerri believes the brands compliment each other and I agree. I’m very bullish on Mud Facial Bar because there’s a huge market for quick, approachable facials at a value price point.
AIR®’s original Charlotte location is in Myers Park. If you haven’t heard of this fitness concept, read our two Agenda stories: 6 reasons why AIR® is dominating the Charlotte fitness scene and Flip your workout on its head at AIR® Charlotte.
Mud. Facial Bar is an express facial concept. It describes itself as follows: “Mud staff is comprised of trained + licensed estheticians, and our simple 5-step process is modified to fit your skin type, and leave you with glowing skin in less than 30 minutes.”
Kerri shared that there will be several promotions during their grand opening week and to stay tuned for more details (ex, freeAIR® classes and facials buy two, get one free). They will also be offering a joint Myers Park and SouthPark membership along with an unlimited plan.
Here’s a quick look at current construction progress and what the space will soon look like.
