I wake up and check out tweets, see what happened around the world in the 6 hours since I last checked. Then usually hit LinkedIn to read up on any new clients I’ll be meeting that day.

What everyday thing are you really good at?
Cleaning. Squeaky clean makes me happy.

Developing new employees. It’s an amazing process to see unfold over time.

Walk to the DOWD YMCA. Skip the 10 minute hunt for a parking spot.

Bed around 11:00 p.m., awake by 5:30 a.m.
Where do you go around Charlotte to get away from the office?
Not Just Coffee Atherton Mill, the gym for a midday workout, the Broken Spoke for an Old Fashioned.
What did you eat for breakfast this morning?
Eggs, Salsa, Guac on a tortilla with an iced coffee.
If you weren’t doing your current job, what would you be doing?
My family owns a construction company in New England, so I’d probably be covered in sawdust, swinging a hammer.
Best job advice you’ve received
A college professor who was also a DJ at a local radio station in Rhode Island: “You’d be good at sales, I look around the parking lot and they all drive nice cars, I drive a 1990 Corolla.” I didn’t want to drive a 1990 Corolla.
